**Deliverables**
- 90% of hours are spent doing takeoffs, negotiating with suppliers & writing proposals, 10% of hours following up and building relationships with contractors & suppliers.
- Ensure proper risk management procedures are followed in assessing opportunities in the market
- Provide quality takeoffs that are accurate using our systems and software.
- Provide project management with change order takeoffs as required
- Writing clear, descriptive proposals that follow our company’s format & adhere to the drawings and specs.
- Entering details into our tracking & estimating systems for opportunities in / proposals out and win/lost bid tracking.
- Weekly report of # of bids produced / bids lost / outstanding bids

**Accountabilities**
- Deliverables 1-5_

1. Review opportunities that are provided by business development, enter them into our software and review with business development team to determine which jobs are the best opportunity for the company.

2. Upload drawings, specifications, addendums and any other project related information that will be required to provide a quality bid for the specific project. Ensure all updated & new information that is sent out is updated into the project folders

3. Engage with the suppliers as soon as the decision has been made to pursue a project. Understand which manufacturers are involved with the project (lighting, controls, distribution & fire alarm) and engage with our specific contacts / sales reps for each party involved.

4. Follow ESP’s workflow from start to finish while working through the takeoff process

5. Review Bill of Materials between the different suppliers involved on the project and ensure that they are complete as per the project requirements

6. Review final numbers with business development and project management for targeted profitability

7. Provide estimate breakdowns for the project management team (as per their requests)

8. Provide cost breakdowns for contemplated change orders and electrical site instructions as required
- Deliverable 6-7 - Administrative Tasks_

1. Typing clear & concise proposals following our template and ensuring that the correct information is in the proposal as per the project requirements (inclusions, exclusions, equipment, general expenses, etc.)

2. Providing weekly & monthly reports of estimated projects, outstanding bids, won bids and bid ratio using Knowify & MBP tracking file

**Reporting**

1. Report directly to the President, General Manager & Senior Estimator

3. Maintain and update accurate data for all previously listed administrative responsibilities as per individual submission deadlines.
