Located in Vars, ON, Loeb Packaging is one of Chicago-based Republic Packaging Corp.'s eight North American operating locations. As a 60 year-old provider of cushion packaging we are known for outstanding design, quality and customer service. In addition, we have a sister company, Impacte, which provides warehouse management services and can complement our packaging products or be a stand-alone service to provide solutions to our customers' problems.

With our eye toward growth, we are actively working to grow our sales by 50% over the next 3 years and enter new markets with our Impacte service offering. We are seeking an experienced and insightful Customer Service professional to join our team to support our service and packaging deliverables.

Role responsibilities:

- Collect and enter orders for new or additional products or services.
- Build rapport with customers and work to ensure they receive excellent service.
- Update customer information and requirements as necessary.
- Use company ERP system to retrieve necessary customer information, inventory information, and purchase order status.
- Support Purchasing functions, engaging suppliers where necessary to ensure needs are met.
- Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, escalate to the appropriate individual.
- Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' problems and concerns.
- Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you bring:

- Some college - degree preferred.
- English/French bilingual.
- 5+ years of experience in an advanced Customer Service role.
- Experience in the packaging industry preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Service-oriented and ability to resolve customer grievances.
- Ability to maintain good customer relations.
- Ability to type 40-50 words per minute.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn database and ordering systems.
