The Data Conversion Lead is responsible for coordinating all activities related to the integration of client initial data into our business solution. To do this, he uses existing methodologies and tools and ensures that the necessary change requests for these tools and methods are communicated in a timely manner, so the specific needs of clients are met.

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out all Data Conversion related tasks as per the defined standards and procedures.
- Identify the “gaps” where client’s requirements cannot be fulfill by the OOB conversion strategy/tools.
- Oversee client data conversion task (CDR data load) and coordinate assistance
- Oversee internal data conversion task for the client.
- Verify the conversion results by executing manual unit testing to capture any high level unexpected results and coordinate resolution of all data quality issues
- Lead the data conversion workshops as well as any other data related meetings/calls required for the client conversion (with client and internal) and report any action items, decisions or escalation to the appropriate resource/team
- Make sure that client data related questions and issues are answered in a timely manner by involving the right teams and experts.
- Be an escalation point for all matters related to data conversion and operate as a primary point of contact for the client and different implementation resources on client.
- Understand the data scope of the project
- Communicate with Functional Leads, Business Analysts, Solution Designers or Developers to have a clear understanding of the data conversion scope
- Define priorities and plan on the data conversion project
- Ensure Data manager & client data resources work on the highest priority work with the highest business value for the client
- Report timely and accurate progress and risks to the project manager with proposed mitigation plans for Data conversion related activities and execution.
- Assess impact of changes on project scope &/or delivery content
- Participate to the preparation of the cut-over plan in collaboration with all teams, internal and external.
- Act proactively in the transition to the on-going support / admin team

**Requirements**:

- Detailed oriented, Analytical and problem-solving aptitude
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
- Capable to communicate with technical and non-technical people
- Proactive, strong-minded, quick thinker and assertive
- Able to motivate a team, influence, recognize good talent and bring out the best out of each individual
- Able to communicate with all levels of management and peers within the organization
- Provide leadership both in knowledge and in being action oriented with his/her team
- Build and maintain relationships with team, peers and management
- Is able to take decisions with certain uncertainties and risk level
- Take ownership and be organized
- Ability to understand the “big picture” as well as to operate in details of a situation
- Knowledge of T-SQL, VBA, C# an asset
- Experience with pension plan and group insurance an asset
