Serve Jesus.** **CDP LEADER** - The CDP Leader will serve as a spiritual mentor, role model, and leader for teens participating in the Christian Leadership Training & Discipleship (CDP) program. This role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for discipleship, youth leadership, and hands-on ministry in a camp setting. The CDP Program Lead will work under the guidance of the Camp Coordinator and with the other CDP Leader to organize, deliver, and oversee all aspects of the CDP program. This includes leading devotionals, facilitating faith-building activities, mentoring campers, managing program logistics, and ensuring the overall success of the CDP experience._ **Key Responsibilities**: - **Program Leadership & Mentorship**: ○ Provide spiritual guidance, mentorship, and serve as a strong Christian role model to teens participating in the CDP program. ○ Lead daily devotionals and group discussions, fostering a deeper understanding of Christian faith and leadership. ○ Act as an overnight cabin leader for CDP campers, leading in-cabin devotions and creating a safe, supportive, and faith-filled environment. ○ Pray with campers and staff, offering spiritual support and encouragement throughout the camp experience. - **Curriculum & Activity Planning**: ○ Work with the Camp Coordinator to implement the CDP curriculum, including preparing some of the teaching sessions. ○ Oversee and execute engaging program activities (e.g., worship nights, service projects, team-building activities, offsite trips, etc.). ○ Coordinate with other camp staff and departments to ensure smooth integration of activities and proper scheduling. ○ Oversee and track campers’ progression in the CDP program, ensuring all requirements and tasks (including "gratis" chores) are completed to standard. - **Program Administration**: ○ Manage the day-to-day operations of the CDP program, including resource management, and ensuring program supplies and materials are organized and ready for use. ○ Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of CDP facilities, including meeting areas and cabins. ○ Ensure that all campers are adhering to camp expectations, including punctuality, behavior, and gratis. - **Team Collaboration & Communication**: ○ Work closely with the Camp Coordinator and other staff members to provide a cohesive camp experience. ○ Attend and actively participate in all staff meetings, devotionals, and team-building events. ○ Communicate regularly with the camp coordinator about program updates, camper needs, and logístical adjustments. - **Special Events** ○ Plan and coordinate special events, such as CDP graduation ceremonies, service projects, and team-building challenges. ○ Ensure that the CDP program aligns with Camp’s mission. ○ Collaborate with year-round staff to manage registration processes, including reference forms and pre-arrival requirements. **Qualifications**: **Required**: - **Spiritual & Leadership Qualifications**: ○ Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to discipleship and spiritual growth. ○ Experience in youth ministry, camp ministry, or working with teens in a leadership or mentoring capacity. ○ Ability to lead devotionals, teach biblical principles, and model Christ-like behavior for teens. ○ Passion for seeing young people grow in their faith and leadership abilities. - **Skills & Experience**: ○ Proven leadership abilities, particularly in group settings, and the ability to engage and motivate others. ○ Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and tasks. ○ Ability to create and implement dynamic, interactive activities that promote Christian growth and leadership development. ○ Previous experience working in a camp or ministry setting is preferred. - **Interpersonal & Communication Skills**: ○ Stron
