**Brake Operator**

The Brake Press Operator will be responsible for running and maintaining brake press machines used to bend and shape metal sheets and components. This role demands precision, understanding of manufacturing workflows, and adherence to strict safety and quality standards.

**Our facility in Pickering, ON has an opening for a Full-time position available on one shift (Weekends-Fri-Sun).**

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate machines: Amada Brake experience an asset
- Read work orders to determine setup and material requirements
- Install tooling and enter program in control module
- Adjust back gauges to consistently produce good quality parts
- Check in-coming and out-going material for quality and quantity. Prepare necessary documentation as required
- May be required to calculate bend lines and work on prototype units
- Monitor and verify that the quality and quantity of work performed meet ISO standards

**Required Skills and Qualification**
- 3 years related experience in high tolerance sheet metal forming and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
- Ability to read precision measuring instruments and blueprints. Ability to set up; make adjustments on equipment and tooling.
- Ability to utilize basic computer functions such as Windows OS.
