5yrs experience - specializing in stainless steel equipment, custom sheet metal items

AMADA & CINCINATTI brake presses, Shears, Computer numerical control (CNC) machines

Determine cut sizes on parts using correct Bend Allowance calculations

Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.

Lay out, set up and operate brake press machines and back stops

Read and interpret drawings or follow verbal instructions to bump, bend, roll, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products

Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal.

Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates and layouts

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, and standing for long periods

**Experience**:
Brake Press Setup and Operation: 2+ years (preferred)

AMADA or CINCINATTI Brake Press: 2+ years (preferred)

Bend Allowance calculations: 2+ years (preferred)

**Duties**
- Operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet established standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to assemble components as needed.
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process, ensuring mínimal downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

**Skills**
- Proficient in operating milling machines, lathes, and laser cutting equipment.
- Strong ability in blueprint reading for accurate interpretation of designs.
- Experience with quality inspection techniques to uphold product standards.
- Knowledge of welding processes is a plus for assembly tasks.
- Familiarity with mechanical concepts and machining processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
