**Battlefield Equipment Rentals**(a division of **Toromont Industries Ltd**.), one of Canada’s premiere Construction Rental Companies, has an immediate requirement for a **Regional Sales Manager** in our Central Region. We are a fast-paced, constantly growing company, which relies on our team-oriented atmosphere to help maintain and build our customer base. The **Regional Sales Manager**is a vital position that operates as the direct liaison between staff and customers, and is a key role in developing successful relationships with our customers. This position reports directly to the General Manager. The following summarizes some key elements of the role.

**Regional Sales Manager**:
Our managers work at both a customer level and employee level to ensure our success, and are a key requirement in maintaining and developing lasting and loyal relationships.

**Regional Sales Manager** Responsibilities**:

- Model the way for safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors in support of Battlefield’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of the construction equipment rental and sales industry, with a strong rental/sales background
- The ability to identify appropriate products to meet customer needs and focusing on expanding market opportunities to increase growth and profitability;
- Self-motivated, with a highly enthusiastic personality and a strong customer service/safety focus;
- Prior experience in helping sales staff build solid relationships with new and existing customers in the region, with a willingness to motivate, support, and manage team members;
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a sharp attention to detail and paperwork organization;
- The ability to make cold calls if required, with or without staff members;
- A detailed understanding of Caterpillar equipment and equipment systems, along with the rest of the Battlefield
- Equipment, Jobsite, and SITECH equipment lines;
- A background in crisis management and major decision-making;
- The ability to assist with the preparation of financial budgets, monitoring of budgets, and quarterly re-forecasting;
- Short and long term planning to meet or exceed set goals;
- Safety conscious with a diverse understanding of Battlefield operating policies;
- The ability to deal with all staff and customers in a timely and mutually agreeable manner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $90,000-$105,000+ annually depending on experience.
