Join our team and contribute to safeguarding our clients' properties with your expertise in alarm and security systems. **Experience**: - Low voltage: 3 years (required) - Construction: 3-7 years Start Date: ASAP Job Duties - Installation (including prewiring, installing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting) and maintenance of integrated security systems - Install low voltage cable for security cameras, card access systems, and alarm systems. - Terminate CAT5/6 cable with RJ45 and into a patch panel - Mount and focus IP cameras - Mount and terminate alarm panels - Mount network racks and wall enclosures - Install and terminate door strikes and card readers; and - Read blueprints and drawings. - Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. - Perform other tasks as required - Ability to travel and work throughout when required Technical skill set - Experience with low voltage system, access control, cctv, security systems, communications, home automation. - System cabling - Electronics knowledge - Use of digital voltmeter - Understanding wiring diagrams (component level experience not expected) - Understanding VLAN’s - Sub nets - Ability to configure and edit network setting on various hardware environments **Requirements**: - 4-7 years of experience installing and/or maintaining cabling, security cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and/or similar experience. - Must have a valid full "G" license - Must have a clean driving record - Must be currently able to legally work in Canada - Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 - Must be able to reliably commute to and from the warehouse/job site **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $24-$30 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Weekends Work remotely: - No **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed **Experience**: - Low voltage: 3 years (required) - CCTV: 3 years (required) - Blueprint reading: 3 years (required) - Power tools: 3 years (required) Work Location: On the road
