**Your Opportunity**
A Corporate Paralegal position is available within our Risk Management group. This role is responsible for a range of legal and administrative tasks to support Stantec’s Risk Management team.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Draft legal documents including corporate resolutions, officer certificates, Powers of Attorney and transactional and other corporate documents
- Provide corporate support including incorporations and dissolutions, amendments, registrations and withdrawals
- Complete annual returns
- Provide administrative support for our intellectual property portfolio
- File management, including maintaining and updating minute books and corporate records
- Prepare and draft various correspondence and documents
- Perform general administrative functions as required
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivated self-starter who takes initiative, is able to multitask, and is willing to take on tasks as needed
- Efficient, organized, high attention to detail, meticulous records maintenance skills
- Professional and capable of handling confidential matters
- Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks with mínimal supervision, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and a positive attitude are critical
**Education and Experience**
- Five years of legal experience (compensation and title commensurate with experience).
- Business or paralegal diploma from an accredited institution is an asset.

**Pay Transparency**: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
