Accounting/admin Assistant

**Role description**
The Accounting/Admin Assistant to perform accounting and logistics functions for a leading mid-sized manufacturing company. We are looking for someone with great communication skills, organized, detail oriented, and adaptable. The individual will need to work well in a team environment and engage in cross training. This individual needs to be proficient with the Microsoft office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Microsoft Dynamics Navision experience would be an asset.
**Role duties**
- Payroll preparation, weekly
- Accounts payable-recording and paying, processing incoming payables
- Accounts receivable-invoicing and collections
- Logistics including shipping documents, customs and duties
- Cross training on other accounting duties as required
- Preparation of reconciliation of petty cash.
- Any other administrative functions and data entry as required.
**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
