Social Media and Events Coordinator

The incumbent will need to be highly organized, have a strong work ethic and understanding of social media and event coordination. As this is a highly visible role, the incumbent will have strong communication skills and customer service skills, ensuring timely and accurate responses, flow of work and follow-ups when needed.
The following is a list of the primary job duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities as Event Coordinator
- Create and lead coordination of event logistics, project plans/timelines, and budget with key stakeholders. This includes sourcing locations and vendors, event management and ongoing communication and support.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with onsite staff and vendors. Providing on-site support.
- Providing event budgetary goals for all events, and assisting in defining an annual event calendar for the organization.
- Managing logistics and communications with the attendees/guests, and venues.
- Driving attendance goals.
- Maintaining the Revel Realty annual events calendar.
Responsibilities as Social Media Coordinator
- Manage all social media content through regular content creation, building a social media calendar for Revel Realty. This includes creating engaging posts, stories and video content.
- Work in collaboration with our internal graphics team for content creation.
- Manage all Revel social media accounts, working to establish and work to achieve company goals and objectives. This includes suggesting new ways to increase brand awareness both with prospective recruits to the brand, as well as boost community awareness with consumers.
- Identify emerging opportunities and execute across social mediums to continue to evolve the organization’s social brand presence. Develop engagement strategies to grow our reach.
- Maintain online reputation, answering questions and comments on social media in a timely manner.
- Stay current with changes in all social platforms.
Perform other duties when needed, including ongoing support for administrative tasks, as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in social media and event management.
- Customer service oriented, taking a people first approach to all interactions for the organization (internal and external).
- Proficient using social media platforms (ie. Facebook Business, Instagram, LinkedIn Youtube, TikTok and other relevant social media platforms.etc.) as well as social creation and management tools (ie. Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva etc.)
- Educational background in social media or marketing would be considered an asset.
- Exceptional copy-writing and proofing skills.
- Able to multitask, with strong organizational skills.
- A self starter with an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- A team player who enjoys working with others.
- Experience with the real estate industry is considered an asset.
