Campbell Road Veterinary Services needs to add a front desk/client relations representative to our veterinary support team.

**Work/Life Balance**

We love what we do but enjoy our time off.

No weekends, no nights, no split shifts, 2 to 5 days a week.

Monday to Friday. One early evening shift until 7 pm on Tuesday and we close at 3 pm on Wednesdays. We are closed on weekends, all Statuary holidays and on Civic holiday and Easter Monday. Plus, we close the hospital between Christmas and New Year for family time

We are a small, privately owned companion animal veterinary hospital. We strive to maintain a friendly, compassionate environment for both clients and support team members. We are located on a scenic country property conveniently located close to Smiths Falls, Perth, Carleton Place, Kemptville and Ottawa.

**What we do**

We emphasize preventative care and maintaining a high quality of life throughout a pet's life. We believe that client education is essential to the practice of veterinary medicine. At our practice, our clientele trusts us and are comfortable about asking questions about their pet and the recommended veterinary care plan. We may be rural and relaxed, but we practice good medicine just with a homey, friendly atmosphere that you don’t tend to see in a busy city practice.

**What you would do**

**Qualifications**:

- Reception Experience, preferably in the veterinary field

**Personal Attributes**:

- You need to have a love of animals, compassion for the human family members, a positive outlook, a willingness to learn, ability to work independently and to function as a veterinary support team member. Great organizational skills and multitasking in a busy, dynamic environment are essential to this position.

Experience with Impromed/Infinity software, On-line Pet Store and Pet Desk would be extremely helpful.

**Pay and Benefits**

We offer a competitive wage, and a great schedule. Full-time or part-time available.

**Salary**: $17-22 per hour (based on experience and abilities)

Veterinary professional services at a reduced rate, pet food, medication, pet care products at cost for personal pets.

Uniforms provided.

Other benefits will be discussed with applicants that have the necessary qualifications for the position.

**Vaccination requirements**:Applicants must be vaccinated against rabies or must be willing to be vaccinated against rabies and have a yearly rabies titre performed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-40 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
We allow only a limited number of clients in the building at one time. Telemedicine appointments and drop off appointments reduce exposure when an outbreak occurs.
