As an Account Manager you occupy a strategic position with the five business units Atlantic Controls represent, the business units are Final Control (Fisher Control Valves), Measure and Analyze (Rosemount Instrumentation), Industrial Reliability Solutions, Process Systems and Solutions (DeltaV Control Systems), and Digital Transformation. Your thorough understanding of process industries and our business units will allow you to develop innovation strategies, generate leads and qualify opportunities. Your ability to explain the value of our high-end offering makes you a leading player in the sale of engineering products and solutions. By creating long-lasting relationships with customers, you will be their go-to person for all issues related to the optimization of their industrial process. You are determined, organized, persevering, honest and results oriented.
**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**- Build up our current installed base and increase sales in our territory
- Develop and maintain customer relationships at the management, operations, production, engineering, purchasing and maintenance levels to ensure growth and market penetration.
- Maintain the sales and opportunity funnel within the provided software platform (Salesforce)
- Document and capture recognized business value through the Quantified Business Result process.
- Develop and maintain an account plan which addresses the following areas:
- Outlines a thorough understanding of the customers business, including their products and processes, markets served, key customers, industry dynamics, and their operational success criteria for the solutions we provide.
- Identifies business relationships with customer’s final decision makers and managers who influence the selection of our solutions.
- Identifies the customer’s Critical Success Factors (CSF), Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and key initiatives.
- Identifies Business Unit initiatives to grow our installed base and increase our market share.
- Support our customers need for improved operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for sales of Emerson Automation Solutions full range of products and services.
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL**
- At least 3 years’ experience in the industrial B2B market.
- Willing and able to travel with no restrictions.
- Curious, adept at learning new technologies.
- Ability to cultivate lasting business relationships.
- Exercise influential leadership.
- An analytical, problem-solving, and strategic mindset that applies to all scopes of projects and issues.
- Highly motivated and innovative with an entrepreneurial work ethic.
- Customer-centric mindset, making customers and their needs a primary focus.
**WORK LOCATION**:
