**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and supervise a team of up to 10 carpenters in various construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and communicate these effectively to the team.
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and building codes.
- Plan and coordinate daily tasks to ensure project timelines are met.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Monitor work quality and safety practices on-site, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of new team members.
- Address any team-related issues and implement solutions to enhance productivity.

**Qualifications**
- Journeyman Carpenter certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience with ICF foundations.
- Minimum Class 5 Drivers License
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Technologically Literate
- ICF foundation experience an asset.
- Carpenter Journeyman designation an asset.

**Work Conditions**
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- May involve lifting, climbing, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
- Exposure to loud noises, dust, and construction site hazards.
- Will be expected to use and maintain consistency on our construction management software
