Overview:
Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for a talented and highly motivated **Learning & Development Advisor** with a passion for learning. Reporting to the Director of HR, you will play a key role in helping us strengthen the technical, leadership and business skills required for the growth of our business.

**The Location**: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Calgary, AB.

**Responsibilities**:
As a **Learning & Development Advisor**, responsibilities include:

- Manage our employee and leadership development programs working with our external partners to deliver a first-class learning experience.
- Adapt workshops and resources as required to meet the needs of our learners.
- Facilitate internal workshops both virtually and in person.
- Support ongoing business needs to identify learning solutions aligned with individual, team and organizational learning and development objectives.
- Manage our training courses and calendar within our learning management system.
- Provide first-level technical support on our learning management system.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure the deliverables meet our expectations.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our learning & development programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:
**Must-Have**
- Post secondary education in HR, adult education or a related field.
- At least 3 years of progressive learning and development experience within a corporate setting.
- Knowledge and experience with adult learning principles, interactive learning design and blended learning techniques.
- Strong facilitation skills including virtual facilitation.
- Experience working with a learning management system and familiarity with e-learning authoring tools.
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills.

- Experience with Saba Cloud LMS
- Experience with Blanchard leadership training programs
- Experience working in a high-tech and/or engineering organization.

This position is with Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division, a global technology leader, pioneering end-to-end solutions for assured positioning and autonomy on land, sea, and air.
