Learning Advisor

The Learning Advisor will identify and develop training materials directly or with vendors across traditional and virtual classroom environments. The Advisor will consult with business stakeholders to ensure curriculums and initiatives support the digital transformation strategy. You will maintain all digital learning strategies and materials to support the use of digital technologies at retail and wholesale locations (2000+ nationally). You will play a lead role in shaping and executing learning strategies for more than 50K retail-site staff at over 2000+ locations nationally.

Minimum Requirements:
- Post-secondary education (business, marketing, sales is preferred) or equivalent experience- 8 to 12 years experience and deep knowledge with Adult Learning and Instructional Design- Previous experience in designing, curating, and rolling out on-demand digital learning strategies specifically catered to digital product and sales teams- Experience with learning needs and performance gap analysis, instructional design, development and implementation, as well as assessment/evaluation of learning- Demonstrated results in the design of blended learning solutions- Strong Project Management skills - ability to plan out complex projects with understanding of key milestones, decision points, move projects forward, influence decisions, and managing budgets (up to several million annually)- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the internal business customers, project teams, sustainment teams, and vendors- Commercial negotiation skills- Ability to be resilient, flexible, adaptable and confident working in an Agile atmosphere with the ability to pivot quickly based on new and/or deeper insights- Knowledge of Downstream operations, Rack Forward operations, retail or wholesale business

Responsibilities:
- Leverage technology to develop, deliver and maintain an effective and efficient learning solution for Digital Products-
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the product teams to develop program content and/or project strategy- Support the development and execution of project plans, including drafting communications and coordinating the translation process- Work with external vendors to identify training needs and develop training materials- Consult and build commitment around recommended learning solutions aligned to business needs- Work closely with Digital Business Readiness Advisors and business stakeholders to meet project deliverables and deadlines- Oversee, organize, and deliver knowledge transfer sessions- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing business to ensure there is a consistent approach to training requests to further drive efficiencies and best practices

Location and other Key Details:
- You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 - 6th Ave S.W.- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
