**Summary**:
Reporting to the Marketing Content & Advertising Manager, the Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and coordinating high-quality marketing content for multiple channels, both online and in-store. This role requires a strategic thinker who can look past the status quo to identify future opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conceptualize and create content to drive awareness and engagement, while positioning Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s as the leader in outdoor recreation.
- Work collaboratively with internal merchandising teams to understand their needs, identify solutions and appropriately integrate feedback.
- Develop a deep understanding of our platforms, audiences and targeting capabilities.
- Review analytics of webpages, campaigns, and work collaboratively to develop ongoing optimization strategies.
- Coordinate content review and approvals.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions to target keywords.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in communications, journalism, marketing, English or related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience.
- Ability to collaborate with people in a variety of roles, functions, and leadership levels.
- Curious and data-driven with an eye on results and the big picture.
- Relationship builder who enjoys collaborating with others.
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines.
- Working knowledge of website analytics and writing copy for SEO.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Self-driven and motivated with a strong work ethic.
