As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Inventory Manager to ensure our shelves, backrooms, and online store are always stocked with what golfers need, when they need it
**Position Overview**
The Inventory Manager will oversee and optimize all aspects of inventory control, purchasing, receiving, and stock accuracy across our retail and eCommerce operations. This role is crucial in maintaining ideal stock levels, minimizing shrinkage, and ensuring customers and store teams have access to the right products at the right time.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Inventory Planning & Forecasting**:
- Monitor stock levels across retail locations and warehouse
- Analyze sales trends and seasonal patterns to forecast demand for golf gear, apparel, and accessories
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking
- **Purchasing & Supplier Coordination**:
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to place replenishment orders
- Track incoming shipments and resolve supply delays or discrepancies
- Negotiate with vendors to improve pricing and delivery timelines
- **Inventory Control & Accuracy**:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits
- Identify and investigate variances between physical stock and system records
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures
- **Logistics & Distribution**:
- Coordinate inventory transfers between stores and warehouse
- Oversee stock receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Work closely with eCommerce and retail teams to fulfill customer orders effectively
- **Reporting & Analysis**:
- Generate reports on inventory turnover, aging stock, and reorder points
- Provide data-driven insights to inform purchasing decisions and promotional planning
- Develop KPIs to track inventory health and process efficiency
**Qualifications**
- 5+ years experience in inventory, supply chain, or retail operations (golf retail experience a strong asset)
- Solid understanding of inventory control principles, forecasting, and purchasing processes
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (Shopify)
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Knowledge or passion for golf products and equipment is a plus
Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
