**Production Scheduler: Doors and Frames**

West Four Group of Companies Inc. is a Western Canadian leader in supplying doors, hardware, and building specialties. Our trade brands are Madero, Penner, Security Building Supplies, and Two Six Creative, with facilities in Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

Our Saskatoon Distribution Centre has an opportunity for the right individual to join our team. This person will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for the production scheduling, quality control, and raw material handling.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and coordinate commercial and residential door and frame production schedule.
- Coordinate team of 4-7 people to ensure all are at capacity with 100% efficiency.
- Communicate daily with other locations to ensure unified production approach.
- Enter the production schedule into online calendars for sales team inquiries.
- Review production orders for errors and work with sales team to resolve concerns.
- Identify and report plant capacity constraints.
- Resolve manpower and material shortage problems in a timely manner.
- Develop weekly production status reports for Operations Manager.
- Monitor workflow and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure that materials and equipment are prearranged for successful production.
- Coordinate with Operations Manager to develop and execute production plan.
- Work with Management Team to develop potential solutions to improve production performance.
- Analyze and address production issues in a timely fashion.
- Order and stock adequate materials to avoid any shortages.
- Oversee routine equipment maintenances to avoid outages and repairs during production.
- An understanding of commercial doors and frames an asset.
- Light metal fabrication experience, is prefered
- Wood door and jamb knowledge, is prefered
- An understanding of quality of finish quality.
- Understanding of quality, quality controls, and timely production practices.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and general computing tasks.
