**Objective**:Superior Cabinets is currently seeking a **Production Lead Supervisor**to join our team in Saskatoon. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the finishing departments’ daily operations, ensuring quality standards, production efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols. This role involves leading and mentoring finishing supervisors, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with other departments to meet production goals. This is a full-time, permanent positions that runs from Monday to Thursday, from 5:00am until 3:30pm with some occasional evenings and weekends required.

**Reports to**: VP of Operations

**Direct Reports**: Finishing Lead Supervisor and Finishing Supervisors

**Location**:Plant

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and provide direction to finishing supervisors, ensuring alignment with production objectives.
- Oversee the operation of various types of machinery (automated stain and paint lines, automated sanding machines, component mixing systems, etc.), quality inspection, hand spraying of paints and stains, hand sanding and handcrafting finishes.
- Coordinate the timely production of cabinets and ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Identify defects or process issues and implement corrective actions to maintain product excellence.
- Create progress reports and daily updates.
- Manage and supervise team members including training, performance appraisals, vacation management and corrective action and provide feedback to improve efficiency and skill development.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure proper inventory levels of finishing materials and supplies.
- Collaborate with maintenance team to ensure equipment is functioning properly and address any technical issues.
- Lead efforts towards continuous improvement activities that drive positive measurable results for the organization.

**You have**:

- 5 years leadership experience within a finishing role or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cabinet finishing techniques, materials, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team building skills.
- Effective communication skills to work with multiple departments and personnel.
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take direction and execute tasks on time while ensuring quality of work.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies.

**Education and/or Training**:

- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license
- Clean driver’s abstract
