Are you a skilled professional with a passion for providing technical support and delivering exceptional customer service? We are seeking a versatile individual to join our team as a Help Desk Technician. This role blends technical expertise, effective communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.
**Role Overview**
As a Help Desk Technician, you will:
- Provide first-level technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure seamless operations.
- Triage tickets and prioritize issues based on urgency and impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Document technical procedures and solutions to enhance organizational knowledge.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide server and network support outside of regular business hours on a best-effort basis.
**Qualifications**
- Computer-related diploma from a recognized technical school.
- Network+ certification or equivalent preferred.
- Microsoft, CompTIA, and/or other industry certifications, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Proven experience in technical support or a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant software, tools, and methodologies for technical support.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Canadian Driver's License, with 6+ years driving experience in Canada.
