**Please note**: This is a contract position, the fee is fixed at $1100 per month from October to April and $1200 a month from May to September. The contract will be reviewed periodically and carried over accordingly.

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage daily market operations to ensure smooth functioning and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance market visibility and attract new customers.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Oversee inventory management, including purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and product placement to optimize sales.
- Ensure compliance with all administrative tasks related to market operations, including cash handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and vendors.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Taking direction for the board as needed and/or as directed

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience within a retail or market environment.
- Basic Microsoft Office Skills (Excel and Word)
- Understanding of web site management
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as cash handling, information coordination, and task facilitation
- A solid understanding of marketing principles, pricing strategies, and customer service best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while maintaining focus on individual responsibilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
- Strong conflict resolution skills
