Northyards Cider Co. is a craft cidery, orchard, and tasting room located in Salmon Arm,
B.C. Our ciders are produced using traditional cider making methods and made from 100%
B.C. apples.

As a BC-based farm with local products, Northyards Cider connects with the community via participation in local farmers’ markets.

Are you a people person? Northyards is seeking a farmers’ market vendor to represent our products in the West Vancouver and North Vancouver area. Duties include:

- Morning of the market: Picking up product and market equipment (tent, chair, cooler, etc.) at a storage unit. Cans of cider are in 24-can flats. Each flat weighs 25 pounds, up to 10 flats at a time must be transported.
- Driving to the market location, unloading, setting up the market booth.
- Selling our product and representing our brand. This includes offering free samples and positive interaction with the public.
- Handling of Square payment system and cash (including daily cashout).
- At the end of the day, doing the same as in the morning, but in reverse. That is, packing up the booth, loading the vehicle, driving to the storage unit, and putting everything away.
- Markets run roughly from 10am - 2pm, so generally the day is 6 - 8 hours long.
- Market days are Saturday and Sunday

**Requirements**:

- At least 19 years of age.
- Must provide your own vehicle.
- Be physically able to lift 25-pound flats of our cider.
- Enjoy working with the public

Compensation:

- We pay $23/hour, and we pay that from the moment you leave your house until you return (since you are responsible for moving product from the storage unit to and from the market).
