Locates Coordinator

The Locates Coordinator will be responsible for ordering and processing public & private utility locates, including but not limited to, underground water & sewer, fiber, hydro and gas.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for ordering, managing and processing underground utility locates
- Scheduling and approving time for Traffic Control persons
- Schedule and approve invoices for paid duty police officers
- Coordinating field services (e.g. SAP related items)

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Construction Engineering Technician or similar or an additional 2 years of experience in a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication with both verbal and written
- Great organization skills
- Strong computer skills, use of Microsoft office suite specifically Excel
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to manage a high volume of work and manage multiple priorities
- SAP knowledge is considered an asset

**WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Comfortable working in an office setting as well as outdoors, in various weather conditions, including rain, heat, and snow
- Must have the physical ability to walk across rough construction terrain
