Data Strategu Consultant

The Chief Data Officer (CDO) organization is looking for a highly structured individual with strong interpersonal, strategic skills and the ability to make the connections between the business strategies and the data strategy program in order to raise awareness of the importance of sound data management, extract maximum value from the program's roadmap initiatives, and ensure that the right initiatives are prioritized.
A good communicator and writer, incumbents must demonstrate excellent teamwork and act as a change agent to transform the organization toward a data orientation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain consolidated view of the progress of all initiatives in the program roadmap.
- Support prioritization of initiatives by providing visibility into interdependencies and linkage to expected business benefits.
- Implement an annual process to update the multi-year data strategy with all key sectors and stakeholders.
- Evolve the performance indicators that reflect the progress of the program, improve existing ones or define new ones and implement them.
- Define and deploy the program's change management plan.
- Define the program's governance model.
- Ensure strong linkage and collaboration with other data related programs and ensure clear communication to business lines.
- Prepare communication materials related to the Data Strategy program reporting and change management plan.
- Prepare business cases with stakeholders to ensure prioritization of initiatives.

This permanent position is located in Quebec City or Montreal.

**Profil**
- 10-15 years strategic analyst/consultant,
- Concrete experience in providing strategic support and/or advice to managers
- Concrete experience in change management
- Experience in preparing executive level documents
- Experience in data governance and/or data management (data quality, data risk management, data life cycle, business intelligence...)
- Experience implementing a data-driven culture within an organization.
- Experience in program performance analysis and roadmap creation
- Concrete experience in managing and/or executing projects in data management and data governance (an asset)
- Experience in business architecture (an asset)
- Knowledge and understanding of the LEAN philosophy (an asset)
- Knowledge and understanding of agile concepts and practices in an IT implementation context (an asset)
- Excellent knowledge of French, both oral and written
- Advanced knowledge of English, both oral and written
