MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS As a Workday Data Consultant at Kainos, you’ll be a key part of the team implementing and configuring enterprise‑scale Workday solutions for our global customer base, specializing in gathering and transforming the customer’s organizational and employee data prior to loading into the Workday tenants. You will build relationships with customers to understand their data needs, lead the delivery of solutions aligned to those needs, and act as the data workstream lead on implementations. You’ll also have the support and guidance of an Engagement Manager and Managing Consultant, and play a leading role in educating and growing the Workday Data Consulting practice. Minimum (essential) Requirements Strong knowledge and experience in data analysis, manipulation, reporting and formatting Excellent knowledge of Excel Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in large data sets Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships and manage expectations Strong communicator, able to present to customers and senior client audiences with impact, credibility and empathy Broad business and technology understanding and awareness of industry trends Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure, balancing customer demands and Kainos commercial goals Ability to widen and maintain a network of external contacts Strong consulting skills (e.g., presenting, leading workshops, demonstrating complex functionality or solutions) Potential to become an acknowledged subject matter expert (e.g., Workday Product Lead) Willingness and ability to support the sales process, including producing estimates for work packages Ability to implement improvements in tools and/or processes to help the practice Commercial understanding of utilization within a services organization and the importance of these targets Ability to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services Travel to customer sites in the same region if required (minimal out‑of‑region travel may also be required) Desirable Workday HCM or Financials Certification, or experience with other similar HCM/Financials/ERP systems, and/or PSA data loading Understanding of different data formatting characteristics across jurisdictions and countries, to suit our global customer base Embracing our differences At Kainos, we believe in the power of diversity, equity and inclusion.
