**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Specializes in installing, maintaining and upgrading internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing products
- Controls user access and passwords. Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system
- Monitors usage and performance
- Steady State AIX/Linux support for Canada Restricted accounts including Security & Compliance, Patching, OnCall, System Availaibity and Disaster Recovery.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**

Works on 3 Canadian Government restricted accounts. Critical skills required to support customer environment:

- AIX HACMP
- PowerHA
- HMC/VIO
- Linux (RHEL 6.X,7.X,8.X)
- IBM GPFS (Spectrum Protect)
- LDAP
- Open SSH
- Advanced Scripting for automation

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Sr AIX/Linux SME

**Required Education**

Technical Diploma

**Preferred Education**

Associate's Degree/College Diploma
