- **The Opportunity **_
The Infrastructure Specialist will develop solutions to complex technical problems.

This position manages all aspects of the Nonstop Environment, including system performance, capacity planning, and capacity management. This position is responsible for the technical support of HP Nonstop
Servers operating system and hardware as well as telecommunication configuration on HP and outbound to the client.

The infrastructure specialist will also provide technical support of Base24 environment to operations, support and development staff. They may provide technical leadership to other employees and may play the lead role on relevant projects.

- System management through monitoring proactive procedures
- Network management, implementation and problem resolution
- Providing technical guidance to Nonstop users
- Performance management using ongoing and historical data
- Software management, promotion of code to production
- Problem determination and correction of system or network issues
- Recommending system or network enhancements
- Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules
- Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
- **Experience and Professional Requirements**_
- HP/Tandem Nonstop experience **required**:

- ACI Base 24 knowledge
- Understanding of telecommunication networks and protocols
- **Skills and Qualifications**_
- Completed post secondary education in relevant IT field and a diploma, degree, or certification in Information Technology field is preferred
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to provide exceptional support to end users
- Time management, planning, and organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms
- Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge
