**Position Overview**:
**Main Responsibilities**:

- Review customer releases and translate demand into internal MRP requirements
- Collecting data from internal and external sources on factors known to affect demand to Improve forecasting accuracy
- Process and communicate orders received from Sales
- Review open order report daily and on Ship on Time reports
- Responsible to update and/or add new planning parameters for parts being added or updated
- Understand product demand and update forecast within targeted schedule.
- Work with Sales and Operations teams
- Review planning actions daily
- Schedule and release orders to the floor
- Invoicing orders
- Sending ASN’s
- Confirm we have the correct inventory at the correct time in the correct quantity
- Review and process material substitutions as required
- Analyzes, schedule and work with purchasing to expedite material according to requirements
- Customer Involvement, constant communication with customer for analyzing and updating releases, expediting / de-expediting as required and forecasting
- Support Inventory Management objectives, for all warehouse locations
- Identify and help eliminate / reduction Excess and Obsolete Inventory
- Mitigate Expedited Freight Costs
- Other Duties as assigned

**Education / Experience**:

- College or University Degree
- Education, Certificate and/or experience within Industrial field considered an Asset
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, CPG considered an asset
- Strong working knowledge within Excel
- Knowledge of EDI and ASN’s an asset
- Familiarity with Distribution and Automotive environments considered an asset
