Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare services to patients. This position is based in a hospital setting, where attention to detail and strong knowledge of medical terminology are essential.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines regarding medication safety and security

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

**Skills**:

- Proficient in pharmacy operations, including medication preparation and dispensing
- Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations
- Understanding of basic pharmacology principles
- Familiarity with various medication administration routes (oral, intravenous, etc.)
- Ability to accurately perform pharmaceutical calculations
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
