**_Reporting to the Manager - Pharmacy Services and as a member of the Pharmacy Team, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the provision of pharmacy services to the clients in the hospital and outpatients within the context of the hospitals mission, goals, and objectives._**

**_In the event we are unable to recruit a licensed Pharmacy Technician, we may consider a Pharmacy Technician in training until licensed as a Pharmacy Technician._**

**_Qualifications:_**

**_Education/Experience:_**
**_ _**
- **_Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists_**:

- **_Knowledge of inpatient pharmacy dispensing processes using unit dose_**:

- **_Knowledge of pharmacy automation including experience with unit dose packaging and automated dispensing cabinets preferred._**:

- **_Knowledge of Medication Reconciliation practices preferred._**

- **_Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing_**:
