**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized pharmacy environment by managing inventory, restocking shelves, and ensuring proper storage of medications.
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions, addressing concerns, and guiding patients through medication instructions.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients regarding prescriptions and medication-related inquiries.
- Support medication administration processes under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols within the pharmacy.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medication administration processes is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A commitment to providing compassionate patient care within a hospital or pharmacy setting.
