Your responsibilities include:
- Manage and enforce promotion criteria that control how code moves from Development through Test, Staging, and into Production.
- Work hands-on with key services in Microsoft Azure and AWS, spanning compute, storage, and networking to support hybrid and cloud-native deployments.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to align deployment schedules, verify interoperability, and maintain backward compatibility where needed.
- Develop and own detailed release and cutover plans that integrate technical tasks, business milestones, and cross-team dependencies.
- Lead dry runs, produce runbooks and buildbooks, and manage release-related risks with proactive mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to continuous delivery by building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring smooth handoffs across the software development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code practices for consistent and reliable environment management.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly core compute, storage, and networking services in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
- Skilled at collaborating with vendor and partner teams to align deployments, maintain interoperability, and ensure backward compatibility.
- Proven ability to design and update cutover and release plans that coordinate complex technical and business activities.
- Experience leading release rehearsals and dry runs, preparing buildbooks/runbooks, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Practical experience with the software development lifecycle, including building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines in DevOps environments.
