Part-time Finance Clerk/admin Assistant

**Job Overview**
To carry out the financial duties of the Sackville Family Home Child Care Agency, as well as other centre project programs. To act as administrative support to centre staff.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible to the centre's Co-Directors and Consultant
- Maintain all financial accounts of the association under the direction of the SFHCC Agency Director
- Create and manage accounts in Sage software program in conjunction with supervisors
- Payroll - Receiver General remittances, T4s/ROEs/HST rebates/charities return
- Prepare reports and financial statements
- Maintain up-dated filing system of all financial transactions
- Perform general office duties - greeting people; referrals; answering telephones; correspondence, etc., under the direction of management and staff
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of Grade 12 education and financial/business training from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 2 years working with Sage accounting software
- Knowledge of Microsoft and Excel programs
- Experience working in an administrative assistant role
- Ability to demonstrate analytical, financial and clerical skills
- Highly organized, accurate and detail oriented
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
