Visit us today and check out www.novascotia.com to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the Health Services Manager, the Scheduling Coordinator (Clerk E) guides the daily work to support schedule builds and management which includes time off request management for biannual and last-minute requests, ensuring contractual obligations are met regarding builds and postings, identifying needs, ensuring daily numbers are balanced, maintaining dashboards or consoles and handling for changes due to leaves and attrition.  The coordinator is also responsible for time entry, corrections and investigations, updating work area specific casual lists, reporting, auditing, and ensuring communication about processes regularly.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Completion of Grade 12 or equivalentCompletion of an office administration, business program or equivalentMinimum of two (2) years' related experienceExperience working with multiple collective agreementsExperience with staffing, scheduling, recruiting, call centre and/or a data processing environmentAbility to type 40 - 60 WPMKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, LMS, Teams, Smart Sheet, Star, Meditech and SAPAbility to problem solveAbility to provide excellent customer service  Ability to work independently and as part of a teamCompetencies in other languages an asset, French preferred Please ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.HoursPermanent, Part-time (40%) position; 28 hours bi-weeklyCompensation and Benefits$25.19 - $28.08 hourly Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.Once You've AppliedThank you for your interest in this position.
