The Estate and Trust Administrator provides administrative support to MD Private Trust Central Administration ensuring timely and high quality administration of Estates and Trusts. This position contributes to maintaining high standards of client service, quality control and operational excellence. **Is this role right for you? In this role, you will**: - Assess daily workloads to determine priorities - Completes daily mail digitization & filing - Request cheques, set-up payments to clients - Maintains a high level of communication with Officers, Administrators & Tax Specialist (TS) on estate and trust administration issues. - Recognizes and elevates administrative issues for resolution to minimize risk exposure - Completes tasks with accuracy, first time right - Prepares account opening, initial set up of document files and on-going maintenance activities for estate and trust accounts, including closing of accounts - Obtains documents, including notarial copies of Wills, Declarations of Transmission, Death Certificates, as required - Mails letters and documents with enclosures - Prepares payments and deposits for accounts - Assists with Centralized T3 Tax Season - Coordinates filing of returns including payments to various tax agencies, updates to various reports including tax monitors - Manage documents and correspondence for Estates & Trusts including filing - Support centralized wills bank, incoming/outgoing **Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
