**Responsibilities**:

- Purchases and tracks raw materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Develops and maintain inventory database for raw materials, stock, and supplies and monitors appropriate on-hand levels.
- Prepare purchase orders, review incoming orders and delivery schedules.
- Prepare inventory reports.
- Plan, execute, and reconcile physical inventory counts.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, prices, and delivery.
- Calculate landed cost of materials with shipping charges and exchange rates.
- Negotiate and implement contracts with suppliers for optimal cost and delivery times.
- Collaborates with warehouse and production to maximize efficiency in purchasing and inventory control.
- Prevent supply shortages and manage unexpected material shortages.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve problems that may arise regarding delivery, quality, price, or conditions of sale.
- Set authorization limits for purchasing.
- Develop and implements policy and procedures related to purchasing and inventory control with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow.
- Interdepartmental team support in training, troubleshooting, and verification.
- Understand how worksheets and products are created.
- Collaborate with other departments for problem solving and continuous improvement plans.
- Contribute to updating, maintaining, and following department Standard Operating Procedures in alignment with Quality Assurance Programs.

**Requirements/Attributes**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business or related experience in purchasing and/or inventory control management, logistics, or supply chain required.
- Five years of purchase experience required.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when working with suppliers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively train others.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as inventory software.
- Able to work effectively in fast-paced environment and prioritize competing tasks.
- Able to work independently, under mínimal supervision and as a team player.
- Maintain excellent attendance record.
- Able to pass criminal record check.

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
