We operate from locations at either end of Canada: Halifax (Dartmouth) on the Atlantic Coast, and Victoria on the Pacific Coast. At AML, we do things a bit differently. Think daily huddles. If you are familiar with these concepts - or they interest you - then you might be a fit for AML. **The mission for this role is: Material where its needed, when its needed.** **Key functional accountabilities**: - **Kit delivery**: 90% of Job and SO Kits are acurate and completed before the needby date & raises the alarm early when kits will be held up - **Shipping**: Shipping paperwork is generated within 2 business days, stuck shipments are identified and resolved within a week - **Inventory accuracy**: Net adjustments for inventory counts are less than 2% of stock value - **Keep them honest**: Is the gatekeeper for the inventory & promotes inventory best practices in the team in a way that reinforces cohesion and alignment - **Inbound inspection**: follows documented inbound receipt and inspection procedures, can advocate for change with problem suppliers - **Subcontract operations**: Subcontract purchase suggestions are clear 4 weeks out, raises the alarm if delays occur - **Engages with the methodology**: Demonstrates willingness to learn AMLs 7 Systems - **Backup**: Able to back up job adjustment and purchasing functions **Competencies**: - **International shipping**: Can generate the required documentation for shipping commercial goods internationally. Can Navigate the required data portals. - **Organizational skills**: Ability to organize and systametize both physical inventory and digital information. - **Communication**: Can clearly communicate technical and non techincal information to the entire business unit. - **EQ (Emotional Intelligence)**: Ability to use and manage emotions in ways to communicate effectively, overcome challenges, and navigate conflict. - **ERP/MRP understanding**: Can navigate a complex manufacturing resource planning system. Able to understand the various demand and supply links, can take action to ensure smooth demand planning. This position is in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. **Salary**: $46,500.00-$57,000.00 per year
