Era 67 is seeking a server to join our team. Era 67 is a quaint restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. A server at Era 67 must be polite, courteous, helpful, caring, and friendly.

**Part Time Opportunity**

**Wage: $12.45 / hours plus gratuities**

**Position Summary**

The Server will provide friendly, efficient service of food and beverages (including alcohol) desired by guests and collect payment for such items. They will create an atmosphere where guests feel welcome, comfortable, and well always attended to.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Must maintain a full knowledge of our entire menu, as well as daily specials.
- Take all guest orders, ring them in, and expedite the orders from the kitchen in a presentable and timely manner.
- Receive payment for food and beverage provided and provide change to guests.
- Complete opening/closing duties according to standards set forth.
- Wash all glassware and maintain a sanitary environment in accordance with the health codes.
- Complete all other duties as required.

**Job Requirements**
- Smart Serve certification required.
- Able to handle cash with accuracy.
- Able to maintain composure and objectivity.
- Able to provide exceptional customer service.
- Able to handle problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems, as necessary.
- Guest oriented with a sincere, helpful, caring, and friendly personality.

- Has exceptional energy, flexibility, and professionalism.
- Has effective communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Able to adapt in a fast pace, constant changing environment within a dynamic work schedule.
- Is flexible with their schedule, able to work long hours, shift work, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business levels require.
- Able to work with and understand financial information with data and basic arithmetic functions.

**Physical Expectations of the Position (include but are not limited to)**:

- Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
- Frequent lifting and carrying 20 lbs (10kg), occasionally up to 50 lbs (25 kgs).
- Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps.

Must be eligible to work in Canada.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

**Experience**:
