Server/cashier

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Server/Cashier to join our team. As a Server/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, processing payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers and guide them to their tables
- Present menus and answer any questions regarding menu items
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Serve food and drinks to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional customer service

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in cashiering, food handling, or restaurant environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic kitchen procedures and food safety regulations is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour
