**Description**:
The Continuing Education department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of ADVANCED CLINICAL TOOLS (351-658-LA).

In this course, students will develop a deeper understanding of activities and clinical tools as they relate to different client groups and clinical approaches. Students will research, design, animate and evaluate activities and tools chosen to address specific clients’ needs in the different domains. Students will research best practices and the relationship between client needs, activities, tools and intervention planning.

**Required Qualifications**:
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline and 2 years teaching experience.
Teaching experience in special care counselling or a related program such as counselling or therapeutic recreation, is an asset.
This course is taught in English; proficiency in English is required.
Being familiar with different intervention approaches used in SCC (client centered, cognitive behavioural, etc.) is strongly recommended.
