The Continuing Education department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR for the course INTRODUCTION TO ACCOUNTING (410-107-LA).
The course introduces students to the language specific to accounting and to principles supporting the accounting cycle. Basic math concepts will be reviewed at the beginning of the course. This course also requires the efficient use of electronic spreadsheet software.
**Required Qualifications**:
Must have demonstrated experience and a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel, as well as with common accounting software used in small and medium sized businesses.
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field such as Commerce with a specialization in Accounting or Business Administration, and 3 years of pertinent experience. Experience teaching an adult clientele is an asset.
This course is taught in English; proficiency in English is required.
**Comments**:
This course will be delivered online. Experience with online course delivery platforms such as Zoom, Moodle, LEA and Microsoft Teams is required.
The format of delivery may change based on the needs of the course.

Mondays 1-4
(Except: March 4 & April 1)
Wednesdays 1-4
(Except: March 6)
This course is taught in English. The selected incumbent will be required to work in English.
