**The Sales Associate will be responsible for**:

- Handling small group inquiries within the pre-defined peak room parameters.
- Managing all aspects of the booking process, including generating proposals, negotiating contracts and communicating with clients.
- Meeting established personal and hotel revenue goals through various sales tactics, including outside calls, inside calls, entertaining, and correspondence.
- Nurturing existing client relationships as well as developing new client relationships. Some weekend and evening work may be required.
- Working alongside the Sales Executive to drive additional group revenue within assigned market segments.
- Attending networking events, trade shows and sales trips as necessary.
- Conducts site inspections.
- Participate in the development and execution of the Marketing Plan.
- Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing and the Regional Director of Sales.
- Minimum 1-2 years Sales experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Good account management skills.
- A Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management and/or Marketing, or related field an asset.
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and flexible, outgoing and positive.
- Previous experience with CI/TY, Delphi or other sales & catering systems, is an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Highly motivated and results oriented.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
