Sales Associate / Warehouse Assistant – Furniture Industry (Part-Time)

Velets Furniture is a fast-growing furniture brand specializing in high-quality beds, dining furniture, and home furnishings. We are committed to delivering stylish products, competitive pricing, and excellent customer service.

We are currently hiring a Sales Associate / Warehouse Assistant to join our warehouse team and support sales, customer service, and delivery operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on environment, interacting with customers, and contributing to a growing furniture business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, stock, and maintain warehouse inventory efficiently.
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and staging for customer deliveries.
  • Load and unload furniture safely, following warehouse safety standards.

Sales & Customer Service

  • Assist walk-in customers at the warehouse with product inquiries and purchases.
  • Generate sales through Facebook Marketplace and other online selling platforms.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, follow up on leads, and close sales.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships to support repeat business.

General Duties

  • Support delivery preparation and scheduling as needed.
  • Maintain a professional, team-oriented, and safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Prior experience in sales, warehouse operations, or delivery driving preferred.
  • Experience using Facebook Marketplace or online sales platforms is a strong asset.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving furniture up to 50 lbs regularly.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Wage: $18–$21 per hour (based on experience)
