Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting products, and maximizing sales opportunities. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers
- Provide product information and answer any questions or concerns
- Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales and demo area
- Upsell to maximize sales
- Communicate effectively with customers
- Conduct sales activities
- Manage in-store tastings
- Attend weekend events with a focus on increasing brand awareness and driving retail sales

**Requirements**:

- Must have own car
- Experience in sales and sales management
- Ability to effectively train others
- Self-motivated and results-orientated
- Passion for and familiarity with better-for-you premium food products is a must
- Must be available to work afternoons and weekends
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Proven ability to upsell and close sales
- Experience in the food industry is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- A foodsafe certificate is a must

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safety Certification (required)
- Driving Licence & Vehicle (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Richmond, BC V6V 1P3
