**Job description**
- Operation of production equipment
- Responsible for mastering the full capabilities of all production equipment to maximize its full potential. This may require considerable self-education, practice and trial/error education and will require some personal time and initiative. Company sponsored seminars or educational opportunities may be made available from time to time.
- Interact directly with customers to provide design proofs, approvals and other required communication to manage the production of the company’s products
- Provide relief to the switchboard and reception duties when necessary and as a team participant
- During non-specific production time and during down time it is the full responsibility of the Production Assistant to perform maintenance of all production equipment, troubleshooting and/or find specific duties related to the production area such as system organization, backing up of files and generally find tasks to complete to ensure all equipment and materials are ready to provide reliable availability for all scheduled and non-scheduled client requirements
- Perform and maintain inventory counts of supplies and equipment
- Other administrative duties as required
- Previous sign or vinyl installation experience is considered an asset
- Experience or training (e.g. diploma) in graphic design is considered an asset

**Salary**: $32,760.00-$40,000.00 per year
