**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented FULL TIME ALL YEAR ROUND Assistant Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our retail environment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and assisting in the management of staff. The Assistant Supervisor will work closely with the Supervisor to maintain a positive work atmosphere while driving sales and achieving budgetary goals.

**Duties**
- Assist in overseeing daily operations and staff performance to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
- Support sales initiatives by promoting products, managing inventory levels, and maintaining an attractive sales floor.
- Conduct cash handling duties including processing transactions accurately and reconciling cash drawers.
- Collaborate with the Supervisor in budgeting tasks, analyzing sales data, and implementing strategies to meet financial targets.
- Train new employees on operational procedures, customer service expectations, and product knowledge.
- Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback to foster professional development.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience.
- Sales acumen with the ability to understand pricing strategies and market trends.
- Proficient in budgeting practices and basic math skills for financial reporting.
- Experience in retail sales or as a clerk is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy and integrity.
