The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for performing data entry and related duties in disbursing accounts payable to individuals, suppliers, corporations and other entities. The general hours of work will be 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday in the Milton facility with flexibility to work on weekends as needed.

**Job Duties**:

- Perform accounts payable and administrative filing duties
- Enter accounts payable data
- Update financial spreadsheets
- Review bills to the company for potential errors and/or discrepancies
.Assist in researching, tracking and resolving discrepancies
- Provide support to the accounting inventory team
- Maintain various records, spreadsheets and documents
- Open mails, sort and forward to respective staff
Understand processes and recommend process improvements where applicable
- Respond in a timely manner to requests for information and other inquires
- Provide full administrative support including photocopying, filing, faxing, scanning and etc.
- Prepare and maintain reports in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Act as a back-up for other administrative positions when required
- Assist with special projects
- Other duties relevant to the position will be assigned as required

**Qualifications**:

- Accounting diploma from an accredited college / university preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
