- Bookkeeper**
**Job Summary**
**Location**:On-site at 11450 Steeles Ave, Halton Hills, ON.
**Hours**:Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm
**Reports to**:Financial Controller
**Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and insights.
- Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial records.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for efficient bookkeeping practices.
- Generate financial reports as needed to support management decision-making.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
- Provide full administrative support including photocopying, filing, faxing, scanning and etc.
- Act as a back-up for other administrative positions when required.
**Skills**
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent skills in budgeting and financial analysis.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in data entry and record maintenance.
- Ability to perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members across departments.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping experience.
- Minimum 1 year of Quickbooks Online experience.
- Accounting degree is required.
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
