Accounting Manager

As a member of the Finance and Accounting team, the Accounting Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing the Finance team and all aspects of the Finance function in Canada. Attention to detail and ensuring data is accurate and clean is a must.

This role will manage a department of approximately 10 employees and will work closely with all departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting deadlines are met.

Location: Georgetown, Ontario

Expedition Expectations
- Manage and mentor the accounting team.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Bank Reconciliations and Cashflow Reporting
- Groups Reconciliation
- Vendor Reconciliation and posting
- Building Client and Vendor Profiles
- Sorting out Interface issues
- HST Filing
- CC Merchant posting and reconciliation
- Gift Certificate process
- Month end process
- Able to meet or exceed deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
- Other duties and projects as assigned

Passport to Success
- Preferred 10 years or more of general accounting experience
- Excellent attention to detail along with problem identification, analytical and resolution skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivator with the ability to work independently
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines
- Ability to adopt a flexible, hands-on approach in relation to the strategic direction of the company
- Able to handle pressure
- Positive attitude and can coach and lead the team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Going the Extra Mile
- Travel or service industry experience, including experience with Agresso and Central Command is preferred.
